Terms of Use

1. Accepting these terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Muscle Club. By downloading, creating an account in, or using the Muscle Club app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Muscle Club is — and isn't

Muscle Club builds you a structured strength-training program from the answers you give during onboarding — your goal, training history, schedule and equipment — and then guides you through each training day: which exercises to do, with how many sets and reps, with technique videos and a rest timer. It tracks the sets and weights you log, your streak, your milestones and your position on the leaderboard.

Muscle Club is not:

• medical advice, physiotherapy, or a substitute for either;
• a personal trainer supervising your form in the room with you;
• a guarantee of any particular result — how your training goes depends on many things the app cannot control, including effort, consistency, nutrition, sleep and genetics;
• a nutrition or medical monitoring tool — the calorie figures shown after a workout are rough estimates derived from your training volume, not measurements;
• suitable for diagnosing or treating any injury or condition.

You are responsible for training within your own limits. If you have — or suspect you have — an injury or health condition that could be affected by exercise, get professional advice before following the program, and never disregard professional advice because of something in the app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Muscle Club. By using the app you confirm you meet that requirement and that the information you give us is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

4. Your account

You sign in through Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure, and for everything that happens under your Muscle Club account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it. Do not share your account with anyone else.

5. The leaderboard

The leaderboard shows your display name (taken from your Apple or Google account), your total workouts logged and your current streak to other members of the app. By logging workouts with an account you take part in the leaderboard. Details of exactly what is and isn't visible are in our Privacy Policy. Log workouts honestly — we may remove leaderboard entries that are plainly fabricated.

6. Subscriptions, billing and renewal

Muscle Club offers an auto-renewable subscription ("Muscle Club Plus") with weekly and yearly plans. All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account — we never handle your payment details.

• Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price for the plan you selected.
• Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

7. Refunds and cancellation

Because Apple processes all purchases, refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If you are an EU or UK consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. By starting to use the paid features immediately, you may be asked to acknowledge that this right ends once the service has been fully performed. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.

Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not retroactively refund the period you already paid for, and you keep access until that period ends.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Muscle Club for anything unlawful, or in breach of these terms;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code;
• scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data or videos from the app;
• interfere with the app's security, or attempt to access another user's data;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app or its content, including the programs and technique videos;
• manipulate the leaderboard with fabricated workout logs.

9. Our intellectual property

The app, its design, training programs, technique videos, branding and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. No other rights are granted.

10. Your content

The profile information and workout logs you enter remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence we need to store and process that content in order to provide the service to you — including showing your display name, workout count and streak on the leaderboard — as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of it.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muscle Club is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any program is appropriate for your individual circumstances, or that you will achieve any particular result. Fitness outcomes vary from person to person. Estimated figures shown in the app — including calories — are approximations, not measurements.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — Muscle Club.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) EUR 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Muscle Club at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

14. Apple-specific terms

• These terms are between you and Muscle Club only — not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Changes to the service and these terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time — including the programs, exercises and videos available. We may also update these terms; if a change is material, we will give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Muscle Club after that means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
